Back to School

This year saw me back at my old school, and I was fortunate enough to catch up with many friendly faces. I am incredibly humbled to have been awarded the 2016 Moreton Bay College Medal.

I am passionate about education, the arts and youth. It was an honour to be able to chat to the senior school, about their journeys and making the world look the way they want it to. The world has certainly changed since I was at school, and there are so many opportunities waiting for those that choose to dream.

So dream, and dream big. We are all counting on you.

So it's been a huge month, and I haven’t seen my Mum a lot, to be honest. She has been away and incredibly busy and a tad (okay a lot) stressed. Fortunately, she sends me to stay with Nan and Pop when that happens, so I tend to get spoilt with even more love and treats.. if that’s even possible. I often sit and wonder why she runs around so much, stays up so late and looks at that funny little screen so often. I mean I sit and watch humans run around all day, every day….frantically…  and somehow they forget to enjoy the best parts of life when it is right in front of them!

I mean surely, all you need is sunshine, love, kibble, water, a ball and a few yogurt drops here and there.  So, you will understand why my post has been a little delayed. I have been rolling around in the grass watching the birds, playing with the ball and enjoying the sunshine. I finally have Mum home and we are spending some quality time together in the sunshine…I think humans should try it every now and then.

Well hello there

Nice to meet you, and welcome to my blog. 

This first blog post seems to come with a lot of expectation… a bit like new year's eve and important birthdays. To be honest, they terrify me. Does it mean that I'm unsuccessful as a person if I don't have the most amazing new year's eve? To be honest, sometimes I just want to sleep and be up early to watch the dawn of the new year.

A bit like this blog, the dawn to a new era.

So, if a picture speaks a thousand words… I’m going to start the first post with how Gizmo and I feel about you dropping by and maybe even saying hello.
